The first half of summer
This blog is becoming a laughing stock in it's consistency in scrapbooking our family life. Or anything else really. But since I really do want to have some picture books for the kids to look through someday, here are some updates, several months late.
The two oldest at a graduation party. Probably early June.
Kids in the present Jaret brought home from Ikea on a business trip
I was the VBS assistant this year. This little buddy was my constant companion. Definitely was not into being left in the nursery.
Practicing his walking
Fun times swimming
Daddy date at the yogurt shop
and the park
Joel and Christina stopped off for a visit during their cross country move
A favorite activity
Many spoons being offered the baby
Sorting
Daddy date to a free game compliments of Jaret's business associates
Jaret and his siblings and spouses all took his parents out for their 60th birthdays. It was last minute, so Pierce and Navy came with us due to babysitting. This was me trying to keep him happy after sitting with a table full of adults for an extended period.
Teething baby
Daddy date. Ordering from the adult menu. :)
It's crazy to look back at these pictures from early summer and realize how things have changed. Pierce walks and runs without thought. I half forgot that that was an issue any time in the recent past. He is also so much more easily entertained at places like restaurants than he was a few months ago. Small blessings. :)
