My baby is one!

Here she is having her 'cake'. Due to her acid reflux issues, she is still barely eating solids, and we didn't think giving her a flare up would be a nice birthday present. She seems to tolerate watermelon pretty well, so we decided on a nice big chunk of it with a candle.
She had lots of help holding the watermelon at first, but it became clear pretty quickly that she could (and wanted to) handle it on her own.

ahhhhhhhhhhh I just want to squeeze them all! I remember driving up to Fort Wayne a year ago today..... seems more like 3 months ago, but such is life. :) Love you all!

Happy Birthday little Faye! i thought of calling, but Grandpa thought Faye probably wouldn't be too happy or sad if we did or didn't at this age :-). (especially since we celebrated with her Sunday)--it was probably more for Grandma's sake, ha. so here i am.

Such beautiful children!!! When Leah saw Faye in the pictures, she excitedly said, "Oh, we saw her at church!" BTW, the watermelon cake was a great idea!
