Family Nights
I have heard of people doing family nights, and years ago it inspired me. However it never seemed to work out well, and finally after several different attempts, I realized that for us it's a good winter time plan. Once the weather is nice, the kids want to be out in the neighborhood, which actually is fine with me after 5-6 months of cold and being cooped up. So the goal is to do something fun together as a family every Monday night from January-March. Here are some pictures of different activities...

We've watched family videos, used Avi's easy bake, and probably some other things I'm forgetting, too. It's a nice break to focus on something fun. It can change an atmosphere of frustration to one of happiness. :)
