Fire station field trip in April. I really gained an appreciation for firefighters from this trip. Just hearing the situations they are in, many for no pay at all, truly risking their lives to help others. Even 'little' injuries, like hot coals slipping into little cracks of their suits and burning there until they've cooled, while the firefighters just keep working to save others. They can't waste the time to look out for themselves.

Realized not long ago that Pierce would probably be old enough to enjoy this little car that had been just sitting taking up space in the garage for a few years. He's been playing with it every day since I got it out.
